Nnanyini Muffu

This is a line about lasting solutions to climate change and the energy crisis. Thanks to the recent black outs in the environs of Kampala, Uganda, more people are aware of an energy crisis, it is immediate rather than looming. This is an opportunity for the climate change lobby that to be honest is struggling to convince the public of the existential threat that is climate change.

By pointing to the obvious effects of the energy crisis, communities can rally to solve this problem with the resources at their disposal that is to say renewable sources of energy like the sun, we are at the equator after all, and inadvertently provide solutions to climate change.

As the saying goes, " Nnanyini Muffu ya kwata awawunya" which loosely translates to the owner of the corpse is not afraid to touch it.
